POEM (QUITE BY CHANCE)

POEM (QUITE BY CHANCE)

Sometimes

You forget to worry

And something happens

Quite by chance

To make you believe again

And

I want to drink a toast to sometimes

When

Quite by chance

Good fortune is the word

And heartaches die unheard

Sometimes

You forget to dream

And something happens

Quite by chance

To make you hope again

Sometimes

Gifts come falling

Into your lap.from the heavens

I lay at peace

Quite by chance

Here on the sand

Beside this beautiful ocean.

I feel the wind on my skin

I feel the sun in my eyes

Taste the sweet salt air

I touch you

And feel the poem in your hair.
